Around "Pierre de Lune"
Directly from your room you can go in the fields for a nice walk. Our house lies in the middle of the fields and it will be with pleasure that we give you some indications for a half an hour walk or a whole day and everything in between.
Around Fox-Amphoux
Within fifteen minutes by car you can be at the start of a few nice walks in the region. A few examples: a tour around the "Bessillon", the waterfall of "Sillans la Cascade", the woods arounds "St. Ulfars chapel" or the way to the "Trois Croix", a point where the communities of Tavernes, Montmeyan and Fox Amphoux come together.
The Gorges du Verdon
You can easily spend weeks in this beautiful natural park. From relative simple walks to more difficult ones where walking shoes, water and a torch are recommended (for tunnels). Click here to get a nice impression of the possibilities.
Direction coast and sea
If you leave Fox-Amphoux via St. Maximin or Brignoles towards the coast can not avoid the "massif de la La Sainte Baume". A beautiful walking area with possibilities for all levels. On the coast as well magnificent spots are to be discovered, such as the Calenques de Cassis, between Marseille and Cassis but the "sentier des douaniers" in direction of Cap Lardier, west of St. Tropez is wonderful too. It is a walk along the coast, tiny beaches with impressive pines en pretty views. These are just a few of the existing possibilities.
