Still unspoiled and calm, but in the heart of the Provence. Pierre de Lune (The Moonstone) is situated on the hilly countryside among forests, wheat fields, vineyards and at only 14 km from the Regional Wildlife Parc Verdon. Authentic Provencal villages with squares with plane trees and their colourful markets are surrounding the place.
Waking up hearing the birds singing. Comfortable rooms with king size beds (160x210) except Cassiopiea which bed is just a little smaller (140 x 200), each equipped with their own shower and toilet and with enough space to be yourself. Not only the personal touch of the rooms but the welcome and the personal contact will make a clear difference from a hotel.
Breakfast is royal and will have and extra "country touch" because of the home made jams and marmalades, honey from the region, fruit, fresh bread, cheese and a lot more. Evening meals "table d'hôtes" can be a pleasant moment of meeting with the other guests in an relaxed ambiance and to discover local dishes and wines.
You will not find any pictures of a sky-blue swimming pool here. We live in a region where you might expect such a thing but we wanted to maintain the authenticity and especially the calm of this place. There are of course swimming possibilities nearby and we are willing to show you nice pools, lovely beaches on the lake side or the nice beaches on the coast.
Relax in the garden, sitting under the almond tree enjoying the stunning view over the valley or enjoy the many possibilities this region can offer. A visit of the "Gorges du Verdon", the colourful Provencal markets in one of the nearby villages as Aups, Barjols, Cotignac, Salernes, Lorgues or Moustiers, a concert in the open air, a museum or one of the cities as Aix-en-Provence, Marseille or Nice are just a few examples from a long
