Rosemary, lavender and
thyme in the air, the sky covered with stars and a good glass of wine....
When did you have that sensation for the last time?
Fair play.
With simple words, embellished with our own photographes and many ones from our guests, we try to give an honest picture of our house, the rooms and the garden. We rather see that our guests are happily surprised then to be disappointed. We think that holidays are too important for that....
In the heart of Provence.
Still unspoiled and calm, but in the heart of the Provence. Pierre de Lune (The
Moonstone) is situated on the hilly countryside among forests, wheat fields,
vineyards and at only 14 km from the Regional Wildlife Parc Verdon. Authentic
Provencal villages with squares with plane trees and their colourful markets
are surrounding the place.
Rooms.
Waking up hearing the birds singing. Comfortable rooms with king size beds
(160x210). Cassiopiea has a bed which is just a little smaller (140x200) and
Copernicus has 2 separate beds (90x210). Each room is equipped with their own
shower and toilet and with enough space to be yourself. Not only the personal
touch of the rooms but the welcome and the personal contact will make a clear
difference from a hotel.
Breakfast.
Fresh croissants from the local bakery, home made jams, lavender honey, different sorts of fresh bread and cheeses from the local farm are some ingredients that we suggest. A lovely country breakfast with a well chosen mixture of local and organic products. .
Table d'hôtes.
Evening meals "table d'hôtes" can be a
pleasant moment of meeting with the other guests in an relaxed ambiance and to
discover local dishes and wines.
Enjoy.
A relaxing holiday, just being lazy in the garden or at the pool, sitting under
the almond tree enjoying the stunning view over the valley or discover the many
possibilities this region can offer. A visit of the "Gorges du
Verdon", the famous lavander fields, the colourful Provencal markets in
one of the nearby villages as Aups, Barjols, Cotignac, Salernes, Lorgues or
Moustiers, a concert in the open air, a museum or one of the cities as
Aix-en-Provence, Marseille or Nice are just a few examples from a long list....
