From our backyard, you'll have this view over the valley. While you are relaxing under the trees in the garden or while refreshing yourself in the swimming pool, the view will impose itself. The wheat fields and vineyards during spring and summer and the red ploughed fields in autumn and winter. Further away, having a clear sky, you can see the snowy mountains of the southern Alps during winter. Closer by are the "Gorges du Verdon" (Europe's most famous canyon) or the lovely village "in the sky" called Tourtour.
The tower of the ancient stone pigeon house has its own terrace and the view over the valley. You can as well enjoy that view sitting under the almond tree, reading or sipping a glass of rosé.
A few old oaks, the almond tree and a few fruit trees will give a nice shadow during the hottest days in summer. We planted another few fruit- and olive trees to complete it. You'll find places to relax in the sun or in shade all over.
The terrace on the south side near "Capricorn" is a meeting point in the morning while having breakfast or in the late afternoon enjoying an "aperitif" together or while having a "table d'hôtes" (evening meal) with the other guests.
From sunrise until sunset, a fascinating full moon or a sky covered with stars, all these natural phenomena that we take for granted or that we can not enjoy very often, make Pierre de Lune magic, a place that you won't forget easily.
